My grandmother's TV now lives on my bedroom dresser so my kittens have a cozy little place to take their afternoon naps.

I gave the TV case a good scrubbing and spray painted the interior with a light bluish gray. (The cats were pretty quick to figure out what I was doing.)

Back in September, I decided that I needed to finally do something with it, so opened up the plastic casing and gutted the insides.

In 1994, my uncle and I went to K-Mart to buy my grandmother a 13 in TV for her kitchen table. A few years later, after she passed, the TV was handed down to me and I've kept it for the past almost 30 years even though it hasn't really worked great for a long time. I just couldn't throw it away.
