I guess but, even the shows aimed at a younger audience had dark moments. I mean the 2012 series has Shredder stab Splinter in the back. And he died.
I reckon there's enough TMNT kids from multiple generations now that would like a darker TMNT on the screen.
(And the Last Ronin comic did well).

I'm not really an Adventure Time fan BUT Fiona and Cake is one of the best animated things in existence.
I had to pirate Season 1 as there was no legal way of watching it in the UK, and guess what? THERE STILL ISN'T!
So, now Season 2 is out and... I have to pirate it again...

Fantastic Four: First Steps;
I liked it. Maybe it's due to me having such low expectations for Marvel films now (and even lower ones for Fantastic Four films) but I surprisingly enjoyed it.
Didn't blow me away, but was a solid film.

Way back in the day, buying a DVD/Blu-ray would sometimes also give you a digital copy. I'm not sure how that was managed but something like that with games would be nice.

They changed the ending. And this isn't like Shawshank Redemption where the ending was changed for the better/worse.
It felt more like a change for the sake of change. I don't know.
