In terms of our speedrun to make 'The Running Man' (1987) real life, so far, we're at pace with the predicted economic collapse, gambling as the primary socioeconomic activity, and a police state. We're lagging behind on state-sponsored-prisoner-survival-game-show stage, but assuredly on track!

We've stupidly put up with CAPTCHAs for years so that websites or services can avoid unwanted bot traffic and now they're just flipping the script on it's face by promoting "Agentic AI" everywhere and opening the front door to AI bots with unfettered access. Amazing times we live in.

The locals in my small town are doing their damndest to stop the AI data center project but the city council just isn't listening. Money talks and Tract development has the loudest voice right now 💰. We'll be fighting against it until it's over.
