The crazy thing is that this framework doesnt even work in a vacuum. Even in a world where everyone has perfect bodies and genetics and looks the same, they would just find new impossible standards to abide by and divide each other with.
This type of thinking just doesnt lead to happiness.

Some people said the "inclusivity" in the book was incidental... I didnt see everything regarding the original material yet so I cant know that.
But in the book, it felt very ahead of its time how there was more than one queer protagonist with entirely different morals and motivations 1/2

Its a very interesting urban fantasy that was very ahead of its time in some ways and is super unknown. Part of a larger setting of a tabletop game called Unknown Armies, but requires little to no prior knowledge of that.

Idk mang divination is weird. Some fringe cases definitely saw world changing stuff coming but mostly? Its just useful for considering alternatives and short term information gathering. When it comes to the future at least.
