Postage trivia: 40 yrs for postcard stamps to roughly double in price from $.15 in 1980 to $.35 in 2020. 5 yrs for postcard stamps to not quite double the price from $.35 in 2020 to $.61 in 2025. The last time I mailed a postcard it was about $.20, around-ish 10 yrs ago. #RandomMusings

Well it’s done! Progression of an idea: started as penciled circle. Added #watercolors randomly. Then let the result take my imagination wherever it wanted to go. Fairy homes, magical flower, bubbles, a bit of sparkle. The rock Island inside a bubble turned into a tree.

This began as a bunch of circles in pencil. I randomly added some watercolors inside the circles. I let the colors and shapes decide what they wanted to be The final result is a couple of cute mushroom fairy homes, a purple flower spewing magical sparkles, and a couple of bubbles. One of the bubbles has a tree inside of it. There’s a few little fireflies lighting up in between the houses. Created by GoddessWhispers during her live streams on Twitch. Creative streams are Sundays and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM PST.

I tried to imagine what that would look like, and had no luck. Years later, I had AI render it from those words. I LOVE IT! I love AI art and I feel sad that so many artists feel so threatened by it instead of recognizing it as a powerful new tool at their disposal. Those who fear it I think don't realize how hard it is to get AI, in its current state, to render exactly what you are trying to get it to create. I'm currently working on something with AI and have gotten so frustrated that I had to take a break after 20 attempts at renders and tweaks. But I'm not giving up. AI wrangling is half the fun of it. The thing is, I saw the same pushback against Photoshop when it first came out. Ooooh the horror of artists and photographers who felt threatened by Photoshop! But now it's considered a standard tool in the toolbox of artists and photographers. And it only ended up providing more opportunities to them. And that will eventually happen with AI as well, I believe, as more artists start harnessing it rather than fearing it. It's also akin to those who knit and crochet fearing that machines producing such items means no one will want to create by hand anymore, or purchase items created by hand. And that just isn't the case. I do traditional art, traditional photography, virtual photography, digital art, ai art, and fiber arts, and crafty things. It's all just more tools to play with - more fun ways to create!!!
