All this is to say, have fun shipping but guard your heart. And be cautious. There's a fandom that's on the verge of getting their desires or not and I unfortunately don't think it'll happen. If you start shipping a non-canon mm pair with the expectation that it will be endgame, u r setting urself up for disappointment cos 99% of the time, it won't. This doesn't mean queerbaiting is acceptable btw. It's awful cos among other things it gives false hope to desparate fans.

This means that when you start shipping a non-canon ship, you should accept that it won't go canon. This doesn't mean you can't call out queerbaiting. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't discuss why it SHOULD go canon or why it makes sense. But it does mean understanding that it likely won't go canon

I kinda get that but no one ever says that when the main woman of the show is white. Let my girl have her mess. Chemistry like that is too good to waste. Plus, I will enjoy it.
