I don't understand this argument that it's unfair for people to have health insurance if they don't even use it. Isn't that the whole point? You invest in insurance in the case that you may need it. Not to mention that people should be using it for preventative and maintenance care.

#Costco, please fire whoever changed the packing of your half sheet cakes. The flimsy plastic bottom cannot support the heavy cake, and the top pops off continuously. Go back to the heavy duty cardboard boxes they used to come in. Those could actually support the weight and were easier to carry.

🧵 Who at BCBS/Optum decided that it's a good idea to have a "pill limit" for medications??? I am so glad my #insurance knows so much better than my doctor of how much antidepressants I should take. I'm sure I don't need these meds that keep me from throwing things at idiots. Also........

Friend who has been in the restaurant industry forever told me it's pretty common for people to hook up at work. Which is disgusting, and I'm going to pretend that never happens anywhere I have eaten.
I told him that no one ever does that in software. He told me they do, I am just that oblivious 🤯

I live in suburban sprawl. Most of the rural communities on the outskirts have been taken over by mansion communities. But go even further and you'll find these tiny one traffic light towns. You get a good look at them going through the 30 mph speed trap. 🧵
