Also I'm speaking with no nuance don't come at me. I'm AWARE of the exceptions. But I think its a very fun dynamic to have his evil boyfriend being mean while he huffs in the background and when he gets called on it he just gets more evil.

What's fun about Gale as a character is he's veeeeery. Push-able. Yeah he WANTS to do the right thing he DISAPPROVES of evil. But he'll be complicit. He won't STOP evil. (irl this is the most infuriating thing in the world to me but in fantasy gay romance I am SNORTING it)
