Another year gone by.

I like Big Buns and I cannot made two loaves tonight two different ways. The larger , more rustic, one I just shaped into a laof like form and put in a loaf pan. The smaller, smoother one I used a rolling pin to make a rectangle then rolled it into a log.

My partner surprised me this morning by hiding roses in my car, and now I find a red velvet cake in the fridge! Not sure if he is being romantic for my birthday... or feeling guilty that he had to leave state on business and isn't able to celebrate with me. 🤭🤔

Treated myself to a birthday dinner :) for someone who does not like seafood, I love me some Sushi. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either.
