Silicon Valley has mostly just created content addictions that waste more time than drugs, gambling, or any traditional vice. Billions of human lives poured into the void of scrolling, with precious little learned or gained or even enjoyed. All for drip-drops of ad revenue.

It would be one thing to deport someone out of a sense of grim necessity but to do it gleefully is just cartoon villainy.

There's a middle ground between living in an echo chamber and being immersed 24/7 in the vilest degeneracy possible. Like, I'm interested in differing opinions, but I don't want to wake up to calls for ethnic cleansing and read about them on the toilet.
