What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?
My beloved shares her birthday with the shipwreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I’d heard good things about this new book & I can say it’s a really good read. Bacon shares much about the crew, their families, & how the loss of the Fitz changed Great Lakes shipping for the better. Highly recommended!

Friends, it has been a big week in the BigRev household. RevSpawn the First graduated and took home a LOT of honors. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover ALL THE FEELS.

Three years ago this June, our family went on a Camino pilgrimage along the Portuguese Way: Porto to Santiago de Compostela. We had many wonderful meals in cities, towns, and wayside shops along our path. Can’t imagine I’ll have the opportunity to visit again, so these are all memories today.

My first call was to Peace Lutheran Church in Barrett, MN. The local high school, West Central Area, was right across the highway. The WCA Knights just won the MN Class A Girls State Title. Congrats, Knights!
