Realised it's coming up to 20 years since @signifyingwolf.bsky.social Bonnie Prince Billy last played in New Zealand. Christchurch was an amazing show - the band was having a blast (e.g. an oompah-band version of Wolf Amongst Wolves). Hope he makes it back here someday soon!

This particular tree in Hagley Park was spectacularly illuminated this evening :)

One way to improve the provision of hearing healthcare for Māori is to increase the number of Māori audiologists in Aotearoa. To help achieve this, Te Kura Mahi ā-Hirikapo is offering up to four Māori Scholarships for our 2024 intake into the UC Master of Audiology Programme. These scholarships cover domestic course fees for the entire Masters programme! Applications close 1st Dec 2023.

I'm fond this pair of shots I took a couple of weeks ago - sunrise and sunset in Nannup, in the southwest of Western Australia.
Sunrise (5.30 am) in Nannup, Western Australia. The sky is lit orange over a fog-covered landscape of paddocks reaching to forests on the horizon. Three large eucalypts are silhouetted in the middle distance. The same view as the previous photo, on the same day but this time at sunset (6.15 pm). In front of a blue-tinged cloudy sky, the top halves of the eucalypts are bathed in orange light.
