I wonder how common that response will be. Yes we want nuclear, but no we don't want it that close.

Did you see the results of the plebiscite in County of Northern Lights?

They voted yes to "explore the potential impacts and benefits of a nuclear power plant within the county or neighbouring county" but no to a nuclear power generation facility being in their county.

From Hill Times reporter Abbas Rana on the other site: Eleanor Olszewski — chair of the federal Liberal Party in Alberta — will replace Randy Boissonnault as the Liberal Party candidate in Edmonton Centre. Olszewski is currently the nominated candidate in Edmonton Strathcona.
