Maybe our country will get a celebratory Christmas gift to wake up to from Santa. 🤔🤞🏻🎅🏻

That’s messed up! I hope he wins the lawsuit. I will say though, if I had a kid in his school district I’d be absolutely furious that he was allowed to take his work laptop containing sensitive student data to another country. That district should be ashamed for allowing that! HUGE privacy risk! 😡

I’d say Fort Worth and most of the suburbs west of Dallas are solidly red. The racism and extreme conservatism is insane…especially for such a large metropolitan area. We’ve gotten more blue, but Tarrant County is solidly red still.

Do you think the House Rs will ever stand up to Johnson and kick him out as Speaker because he’s doing such a horrible job? They have the power to do that and elect a different Speaker. Enough of them have to be tired of not working by now, especially with needing to pass appropriations bills.

Unfortunately, they won in the Lewisville ISD. 😢 MAGA propped up the eventual winner last minute and then attacked her opponent claiming she was Muslim (she’s not). Their fear of a “Muslim” winning got a much less qualified candidate the win. Fear won here. 🥺 Texas still has a long way to go. 🤦🏼‍♀️

He’s too busy making this page on the White House official government website. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Utterly disgusting! 🤬

Maybe he doesn’t know anything about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ That seems to be his answer to everything these days. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

This is actually the longest full-government shutdown in history. The 2018/19 was only a partial shutdown. Some agencies were already funded. He currently holds records for both of the longest shutdowns! 🏆 Are we winning yet???? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t forget about the Senate TV staff…they do a thankless job making sure coverage is available for everyone to watch. 🤗

Wouldn’t shock me at all. With how many people they’re hiring and quickly putting on the streets…no way they’ve done full & complete background checks on them all. Wouldn’t be surprised if they ignored some of the red flags popping up in any background check either.

I think the public would be shocked at how much non-essential work is happening during this shutdown. A true shutdown would have a large majority of government employees furloughed. That’s not what’s happening right now.
