One day, the #fia might learn that it’s a mistake to try to police fan sentiment.

To be fair, we don’t know if fans were literally saying “boo”. Negative reaction all sounds the same collectively. They could’ve been saying anything. Such as “wanker”, “fraud”, “cheat” or “harasser”. Which are four random example words that I chose for no targeted reason at all.
The FIA are disappointed by the booing of Christian Horner & Max Verstappen.
F1 is built upon respect - including for the regulations, which the FIA & it’s race directors have always respected.
