OH AND one of my favorite interesting things abt him is he's got a VERY monotone voice, really doesn't know how to use tone, but he kind of flips between being expressionless and totally over-emoting to try to seem "normal"

all in all, Mio's reputation back home was that of a quiet, stoic warrior- when you get to know him that's not really the case!! but since he's not a huge talker, few people really realize that.

-and was tired of feeling like an annoyance or bother to others. he's sort of always felt like he doesn't click with people. I think that gets better around post-shb though, once he becomes friends with Gaius and they bond over their shared feeling of disconnect from others (part of my gaius hc)

actually, worth mentioning that I don't think he or the characters around him know he's on the spectrum, and I think that tends to cause issues. Part of the reason Mio spent much of his adult life away from society is because he felt like he didn't fit in with others (much like myself)-

-while he's still those things, that's not his whole deal lol. He does struggle with building relationships and is a bit on the quiet side. He's a bit like me in the sense that he has a hard time processing his emotions as well. 2/2

I gotta start adding more moon/eclipse motifs to my own art of them too since that's their symbol!! considering using Lunar Eclipse as their ship name (I've been calling them scratty for YEARS tho, it's stuck and it's fun and goofy)
