A trans rights movement will necessarily have trans people in leadership positions, but I’ve found that if you lead, cis people (and people in general) will follow, but building a strong base of supporters will take a lot of work

Me and a group of friends did an outreach event recently to talk to cis people about how they can be better allies. I think ignoring the people who are whining about having to do anything and organising with the rest is the way to go here
