Moodboard for Face 4: Isolation’s 6 Weeping Eyes. For the finale I thought about New York City and its personality and the sense of community. I was listening to Mobb Deep’s Hell on Earth the whole book but especially here. I took inspo from folk tales and legends too. There’s a mythical feel to it

Moodboard for Face 3: Warped Weavings. This was the least planned out part of the book. All I knew prior was that I had to get the audience care about 2 of the characters and the end result of the journey. I really like the synergy of this part, it’s so important #writingcommunity #booksky #cr #tbr

I wrote the bulk of Faces of Malice from Jan-Dec 2023. It was built off a strong desire to capture the fears of the general public nowadays, a lot of research into different cultures and myths, the desire to improve my literary techniques and questions about identity. #cr #reading #writing #horror
