Yeah I get it, I’m sure I use ableist language too. That’s why I said something. I’d prefer someone point it out so I can change it up. There’s a lot of awkward turns of phrase in English that must have been grating on people for many many years

Appreciate that also. There are some rules around use of public land. I would check with AEC or VEC (in VIC) to make sure it’s advice board. But otherwise pursue changes through the legislature.

I don’t know if you’ve considered that ‘standing’ for those who cannot is pretty ableist language. Consider ‘represent those who cannot be there’. Nothing against you but this just occurred to me

When it comes to election materials I’m firmly against any and all defacing it encourages others and is a race to the bottom imho

That’s great! Good to see women being acknowledged, given there are and certainly were, enough blocks in the way of women. Not acknowledging their achievements in the face of this does not help

The certainly can recognise faces and patterns of behaviour. Best to feed them little bits of nuts. Half a nut cut into many small pieces works well & is heaps. Or another safe thing is insectivore raising mix. Especially if you can’t hold back on feeding them, which I get, cause Maggie friends!
