I respect your work on a high stakes issue and appreciate you reporting on a tough topic. It’s ok to have disagreements on some elements of stories! My point was not meant to be a specific critique of your work as much as a broader frustration with how I see this issue being discussed writ large

Fundamentally, I think this conflict is between an organizing style that cares for individual people going through the system as we work for structural change versus mobilizing to achieve structural change as fast as possible, even if individuals get hurt. And that’s a real tension on the left.
