Whew! By all means then. I'm sorry to hear that your pooch isn't doing so well. My best to him...

Just occurred to me to ask. Why are you on braces? Are you OK?

The US Congress has one Native non-voting observer. As does Puerto Rico. Can you see a good number of those folks in your imagination... ;>)

Wow! This is awesome!

The Haka, which I've heard, is very similar to a Native American chant circle. They are extremely powerful...

Probably not your thing, but I highly recommend 'Absolute Elsewhere' by the band. Shit, Tangerine Dream has a collaboration on it...

Sorry, not sorry. My favorite band right now is this space themed, progressive death metal band called Blood Incantation... ;>)

Yes, I've heard all the write, write, write stuff. I thought that was implied. The point was, celebrity or success does not correlate with talent necessarily. I've never heard of you, personally, but that doesn't mean you're not a great writer or that you're not a bad one.

But aliens crash the party and make them the Adam and Eve of their planned de-population of Earth. Their altered DNA will mate and create a unique slave race suited for Earth that will reap resources for their ravenous Overlords...

You can pitch your ideas to me at anytime. If I were to even remotely think of using one, I'd ask your permission or offer collaboration...

Secondly, your ideas are yours. Who actually knows if Marc (no offense) is a great writer or even an arbiter of such? He only knows what he knows and writes from that place. If you're truly serious, hire an agent who's job it is to get your craft in front of people who make decisions.

You would think, but sometimes the label does choose in order to promote an act they're keen about. Sometimes the band itself has a special relationship with the act they choose. It's a mixed-bag these days. Most of the acts I see now don't have an opener.

There isn't anyone I know who's my age who wasn't shit-scared of this movie at the time. I'm sure I'll feel the same way you do now... ;>)

SOMETIMES the label picks the opener. Depends on a lot of factors. Mainly, though, how much notoriety and financial independence a main act has. Also, the main act may not give a toss who opens for them. Small acts are generally pooling resources and have common goals...

A few weeks ago I got the 'Salem's Lot' disc. Been meaning to watch it. I remember when it was on TV. Scared the shit out of me when I was 9... ;>)
