Ever challenging myself to use a standard deck of cards in unique ways for my Legacy game. I seem to have legs under a deck builder where you use low cards to buy high cards in order to improve your chances to draw melds (pairs and runs) at the beginning of your turns. 🎲✂️ !

I appreciate Legacy board games that thematically destroy pieces as a game progresses, but I love my components too much to see them as one-time-use. What do we think about a game that requires a standard deck, that gets ripped up as you play through the chapters, when a character/artifact perishes?

I found an incredible play-testing community last spring where, for the first time, I felt like my niche hobby was normalized. I had finally found a place where I could learn from like-minded peers and the inspirations and momentum that @breakmygame.com provided me is, and continues to be priceless.
