an abusive person that used to be in my life actually used that as reasoning behind why what he did to me wasn’t wrong, because other people have “had it worse than me” so what he did wasn’t that bad (it has seriously affected my day-to-day life and my livelihood).

just because there are people with lives worse than yours does not mean that you have it easy necessarily. and it certainly does not mean that your life should be worse. you really haven’t done a whole lot of wrong and as a trans woman u deserve to be happy actually

fun fact: trading card market values are completely made up by the company who makes the trading cards, as they carefully control the supply, and thus demand and value, of each card
