The problem was accessing that Synology remotely.
I found tailscale.com in the Synology Package Manager directory, and it is quite impressive.
I'm able to connect via SSH on my Mackbook from a different network, edit the crontab file in the Synology, and whatnot 😍
Super easy setup.
