We were more "tell someone how special they are every day" types who didn't do much for Valentine's, but a big splashy celebration makes sense too. Love should be celebrated. It's the most valuable commodity - treasure yours in whatever form you have it. Miss her on the celebration days too.

I miss my partner. It's been more than 2 years since she died and there are still moments every day that punch me in the heart and make it skip a beat. Today was no exception, just punched a little harder maybe.

Apparently that will never, ever stop - I just have to handle the two sides of this.
