Today I learned a new Chinese Professional Baseball (CPB) league formed last year and played its first game on Jan. 1st, 2026. I couldn’t be more thrilled and I am wishing the league great success!

I’m halfway through Adrian M. Gibson’s Mushroom Blues. It has been a surprise for me this year; it’s not the typical fiction I read. Colonizers and colonized live together in what can only be described as sadness. The colonized? Oh they’re a mushroom-humanoid species.

What books are you reading?

I’m not a Springsteen fan per se but I’m a fan of Nebraska and enjoyed Deliver Me From Nowhere because of it.

I know artists can be tortured but it’d be nice to see more than just that aspect. The Jon character was the strongest and most appealing performance.
