People are starting to realize that none of our political options are doing shit about the problem. So they're doing what they feel is the only thing they can to actually make something happen.
The Democratic party could've prevented this if they hadn't rigged the last couple primaries.

That's only because we've never had a political party (R or D) candidate run on single payer healthcare.
If we had an entire general election cycle that had that, it would be a landslide.
Instead, we got a couple of BS, rigged Dem primaries that ended up with a United Healthcare backed candidate.
