Part of the issue in Miami, why they haven’t won a playoff game in 20+ years, is that they have over invested in the OL in the draft and in FA at the expense of more important positions.

The only thing that’s changed in 2024 is the LG. Every other starter is the same as 2023.

Outside zone and inside zone depend edge blocking, TE blocking, more so than OG’s. Successful IZ and / or OZ run teams usually have a dominant TE blocker. Miami doesn’t have that. Want to run zone better, get a better TE to block and a better RB.

10 penalties, missed tackles, poor special teams are all parts of not being prepared.

The worst part though was the awful game plan, something that’s been consistent in most games offensively this year. A bad plan, no matter how well executed, is going to fail. We’ve seen it multiple times in 2024.

Every TD drive by Miami was aided by at least 1 mistake by LV. That’s because LV is a bad team. Miami won’t get that against good teams.

Absolutely take the win. The point though was Miami didn’t play great against a bad team. Playing like that against a good team gets Miami beat. Miami “hasn’t turned a corner” IMO. They still aren’t playing good football.
