Hard to gain much insight from this morning’s practice. Most of the times are helped by at least some drafting. Logano took the pole last year with a round 2 time of 49.465. Bowman’s pole time in 2023 was 49.536. Last summer, when speeds are normally faster, the pole was 49.136.

Neither Stephen Mallozzi or Outback is on this platform so I want to make sure the NASCAR folks here see this. My friend was waiting tables at Outback when he made a Truck Series start at Martinsville, he tweeted about that and Outback stepped up, they will be the primary on his truck next week.

Not my best result for sure. Was just wrong on Chastain and Reddick. Still, I was patient and didn’t bet for the sake of betting. Not unhappy with the process, sometimes you just swing and miss.

One final update to the card. Blaney Top Ford at +1600. He was the third best Ford in practice, little bit of luck could get him ahead of the other Fords. 16-1 just too long.

Pretty small card today for the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at the Glen at Watkins Glen International. Books are super tight right now with two road courses in a row (plus large holds in general)
