It would seem that a bunch of us were feeling nostalgic last week and started binging All in the Family. Mike and Edith were my favorite. Mike for his passionate need to educate. Edith for keeping the peace with dignity until the crazy made her explode.

The Golden Girls first aired 40 years ago. I was 15 and related more to them than to the kids on the teen programs. My gramma and I loved this show and watched together as often as possible. This is like a whole other planet now... I need a Tardis.

So it looks like the new ranching skill in #Palia is going to suck up a lot of time. With the state of the world and my lack of confidence in getting good ETs out of 3IAtlas that's a great thing.

1. So in the mid 1980s the US shut down a bunch of institutions due to budget cuts. States were expected to run those institutions. States shut them down anyway. States don't have the money for institutes any more than they have the ability to manage State Parks without help.
