I'm pretty sure it was you that got me looking at Mausritter so, you've got some percentage boosting power already!

I'd love to hear about your experience judging game design in terms of how the layout and graphic design influenced your opinion over the mechanics of the game (sorry if you already wrote about this, I haven't finished the Ennies debrief yet!)

Being such a graphically stylised individual as this monk, stumbling upon the detailed fidelity of a hog. Truly a miracle

It's quite likely your MH is looking for tactically challenging combat. If you do talk with them, I'd be sure to show some willingness to try and give them what they want, so long as they show a little patience and respect the other player's desires as well. Meet in the middle sorta deal ;)

That's a tough pickle! When it comes to balancing combat, I'd try to use more, less powerful enemies. That way, if your other players start trying to opt out of violence, the threat increases for your MH, and if they don't, everyone still has something to do in the fight.

I feel like players can help out by giving specificity to the way they want to achieve their action as well. As a GM, it's a lot easier to imagine how something goes wrong if you can picture the details of how it's being attempted. It helps as flavour too!

Yeah, I was thinking there would need to be some distance between corroborating clues/leads. Your limit sounds like it would set really good pacing. Top tip!

In my planning, I'm toying with the idea of adding 'evidence' into the mix. This would be a kind of checkpoint where a clue or lead corroborate each other enough to become proof of a thing, defining a part of the mystery as true for the players.

From a practical brand I trust, to a rebrand that makes me feel like I'm storing my photos in the 80's of the future.
Nice job @sandiskstorage.bsky.social

Sent! Thank you for taking the time to not only write this but, to make it so much easier for anyone else to weigh in and take action.
