Mental struggles suck, and being in survival mode is even rougher. That being said, each step you take is still a step. Even if it isn't much progress, it's still SOME degree of process and it is still a feat worth something ESPECIALLY under so much stress.

Simply because you're in more fortunate circumstances doesn't discount your struggles. It's still hell, regardless of any comparison. You have every right to feel the way you do, as every struggle is still a struggle. Your pain isn't any less valid.
