Today I will be at Protocon with a Demo of Skookum, an indigenous boardgame centered on the traditions of Potlatches by the Pacific Northwest Indigenous peoples.

Prototype board set up for Skookum, cards with archival images of indigenous artifacts, masks, and wearable pieces have their required materials and point awards are depicted. Wooden tokens with formine faces are on a track denoting turn order, and clear cubes are placeholders for formline pigments.
