What happened to Maggie Haberman and Josh Dawsey? Did someone remove their numbers from Trump's phone? Or did we only get leaks from the more normal republicans in the White House during Trump's first term?

Was fantastic many years ago but surprised it still exists. I still remember going in there at closing time during jazz fest and asking them to serve us whatever is left. Amazing meal.

Casserole. Closest to lasagna.

It's the most memorable to me too.

Burrito bait? This seems troll-y.

I hate that article. It is vague enough that people will get the impression that treatment and supplements are enough to replace the vaccine for most people.

I don't like paying for disappointment. I've done it but I don't like it. NYT, Washington Post, NPR, the Atlantic, ... All paying for both-sidesing the shit out of things. All false balance.

So glad that I stopped donating to NPR....

Peaceful 'civil disobedience' is resulting in police riots -- calling illegal assembly, kettling, tear gas, batons, horses, arresting protestors and reporters. Which the press then reports as protestor riots. How can we get the press to show this accurately?
June 12, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Spar? Protests? The issue is government overreach, violation of civil rights and due process, and violence on the site of ICE and local police. Focus on the act, not the response.

Obviously the best website would have 50% representation for each side of every issue? Dumbest metric ever.

I assume the Crimson Tide, which is simultaneously a (collection of) animal from the location, a horror film, a pollution, an inanimate object, and just gross actually scores well? Longhorns is conventionally good but not exciting, Aggies are sad, Tide is kind of good?

It was NPR. Oh, you already said that

It is not wrong to investigate tax-exempt status of churches, universities, whatever. It is wrong to threaten to revoke it (or investigate it) specifically for political reasons.

It's really an improvement over the typical Clairemont vista of oil-slick stained driveways, dead grass, and rotting privacy fences.

We need a wealth tax, or an 'income tax' that better covers investment gains. 'Tax the rich' should be more about the top 0.1% than the top 10%.

Talking politics makes me speed up uncontrollably.

Can't vote against you but I can support your challenger in the primary. Please change your mind.

How does the Koolaid taste? Is there a little off flavor when you find yourself defending Newsmax and so forth?
