I have spent entirely too much time looking for what I hope will be the perfect veganic soil for my lil wacky-goth container garden. Containers arrived today, soil/compost by Monday, seedlings are looking happy & last frost is less than 2 weeks away.

I'm not an economics expert, but just about everyone I know socially and professiobally is still feeling major, negative economic effects from COVID, remote work, offshoring, reduced hours, layoffs, and rent increases.

I don't think my social & professional networks are THAT unusual, so what gives?

Chickens have been selectively bred, especially since the 1950s for increased commercial profits that have resulted in them laying an egg every single day as opposed to the twelve eggs their ancestor the jungle fowl would have laid in a year.
