And it's not about "trust the board"...it's about the club being run by professionals who have a job to do. They might get the decision wrong (and only time tells in any recruitment) but they do have to already have multiple plans in place.

Based on him having a track record of getting better results than his squad deserved at both Hudds and WBA. And him showing the ability to react to stuff.
(And that I think Farke's biggest weakness is the tactical side, he's never shown any flexibility or ability to react to stuff)

It's irrelevant to me as a fan as the club should have professionals who know a whole list of people who are suitable replacements

Same. Unfortunately he's threatening action in the US so not much we (as in the UK) can do.
In truth it's frivolous and unlikely to come to much, he loves to make threats and file actions tho and at the very least it means our money being spent on legal fees.

His drop off is also a double blow for Liverpool because of the way they use him, he is completely excused from any defensive duties, means they're constantly overloaded when teams attack. When he's such a threat you can do that...as soon as he's not he's a liabiliy

I think he was being quite sly there tho (and I said it at the time) - he was getting his excuses in early and putting the blame on the recruitment.

I also think our recruitment is fine (as in not great, ok) but is an easy excuse because it's very limited as a newly promoted team with a poor FFP posituon

I'm with you it's fine. We improved the squad. Added a lot of experience. It's a squad a manager should be able to get a tune out of even tho it's tough as a promoted side.

Our recruitment was fine. Not excellent, not terrible but ok for a team that's going to be fighting relegation.

I've been less critical of Farke than many. His cautious nature and calming influence was very important (and underrated) in the champo.
But he's so tactically limited and inflexible which is a major issue at this level
