Hellebores do have very thick leaves (because they're blooming right at the edge of winter into spring), but not quite succulent-thick, and the flowers droop.

This is a black-flowered hellebore (a Helleborus orientalis hybrid) (as opposed to the Black Hellebore (H. niger), which has white flowers):

Today in a nutshell:

There was so much water streaming down the road that I nearly hydroplaned *on a hill.*

💯 recommend! I was given a tube of this as a gift many years ago, and now it's ALL I use.

I use unscented at work, and scented ones (grapefruit blossom honey, lavender & beeswax absolute, and spiced chai & honey; sometimes also jasmine & honey and vanilla, rose & honey) at home.

Spotted a fox in the cemetery Sunday morning!

I stopped the car to look at him, he froze to look at me, and then he turned around and trotted off before I got a pic.

Only to turn around THREE TIMES to check if I was still there.

Or maybe he was anxious that I get his good side. 🤭

This is the very first time I set eyes on them! Without any explanation, share an image (or gif) of the first moment you saw them! #BTS

😂 Solo makes whole lines of disposable ware. Paper plates, too. We used to use them all the time when we went camping because they were heavy-duty.

Even coffee cups with reusable holders.

The largest oak I've ever met was the Angel Oak outside of Charleston, SC. She's a live oak, so not so much tall as REALLY wide-reaching.

My faves that (I think) you skipped included the Williams sisters, a couple of really delicious cravats, and a downright royal homage to André Leon Talley (complete with ear crown).

Or hear the bird!!
Have you discovered Cornell Ornithology Lab's Merlin Bird ID yet?

You select your region, then point your phone at that lovely sound in the trees, and it tells you what you're (probably) listening to!

Love how our Li'l Meow Meow's gone from "You LIED! You said I'd be in a group like 1TYM, no need for choreo, just vibe a little!" to "I'm an idol, after all..."

Have you seen Hobi's I LIVE ALONE eps? His bare feet are the first things you see of him. It's kinda hilarious. 🤭
