No, not the early 1900s, according to the Wikipedia article. She got married and started traveling outside of the US in the 20s but did not move permanently to Mexico until the late 40s b/c McCarthyism. Neither is early 1900s. Source for 2nd "fact" is print book maybe someone else can check?
