Haven’t posted stuff I’ve been making since I got here I don’t think, so here’s some hand carved wood things from last year.
A small hand carved wooden coffee scoop made from greengage. The bowl is a pale creamy colour and handle is stripes with darker browns occurring naturally within the wood. A small honey spoon carved from wood. It is a pale golden colour, and about 15cm, with a small narrow bowl and slim handle. A small coffee scoop made from apple wood. The grain pattern is pale at the edges and becomes darker to the centre. It has a deep bowl and a wide but thinner handle, which is narrower toward the bowl. A ovoid curved bowl, carved from spalted birch, sits on a large shallow plate carved from a slice of ash tree. The wood is pale in both, and the ring patterns are visible. The spalting gives variation to the birch bowl, with patches that are darker and paler. These have a high shine shellac finish, unlike the others which are oiled and matte.

A someone who would see private schools abolished-WHY? Did I get this?…I have 0 children, my large son is a 5 year old rescue greyhound with anxiety from the abuse he suffered in the racing industry…who hates the sound of screaming kids in playgrounds. He may enjoy the alpacas though I suppose.

Much like myself, on a grey and dreary morning, our dog does not want to get out of bed…god love ‘im. We rescued a big boy who loves sleep and is solar powered…buddy you fit in perfectly.
