The Shabaka Stone and Entangled Histories in African Philosophy: Prof. Amr El Hawary highlights that the Shabaka Stone (25th Dynasty, 712 BC) documents how the central Egyptian concept of a ‘Creation through the Word’ was influenced by other African traditions of thought coming from the South.
