Same here. I wonder how much of that is because He-Man didn’t have Marvel Comics writers helping to flesh out the mythology.

I just rewatched Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai a couple of nights ago, and yesterday I randomly thought of the line about “He's sending us out the old way. Like real f------gangsters” and almost lost it right in the office.
