Art for Gaza HELLO! My names Tori and i am making art for donations to families in Gaza. This means the world to me and if you're anybody thats been interested in my art genuinely or if you would like a more straightforward incentive to care about the genocide in Palestine right now, this is it!! The idea is to have art to corresponding amounts of donations; 1 personally have found my way into wearable or textile art lately so this is the shape my art will be taking for this effort! Finally! Abdullah owned a beautiful little store before the occupation bombed it. he also is in need of further medical attention to his foot after he was victim himself of bombing violence!!

Lena deals with a chronic pain that she usually gets injections for. these shots have gone up from $15 to $30. yesterday she messaged me BEGGING for help. (i am currently BROKE).

bro does not gain weight no matter how regularly i feed him and im thinking its bc he may be part barbata(eastern beardie)…like perhaps i should be feeding him more insects than he gets… because centrals only get insects once or twice a week…he might need to be eating insects far more often :/

We have been displaced since October 7 of last year, living in a makeshift tent. The harsh cold is settling in, and it's painful to know that we will once again endure it without proper shelter. In April, I went back to what was once our home, only to find it bombed and destroyed. I had hoped, perhaps naively, that one day we could rebuild. But a few weeks ago, I returned to gather some warmer clothes and blankets for my children, only to discover that the Israeli Occupation Forces had burned it down even further. The home we cherished for just a year and a half, the home where we had started to build our life, was now completely ruined. To make matters worse, I found that my Quran— To make matters worse, I found that my Quran— something sacred to me —had been torn and burned as well. That was the final blow. The hope I had of rebuilding our lives in that home has been shattered. The house is beyond repair, and the pain of seeing our pride and joy reduced to ashes is unbearable. But we cannot give up. We are doing everything we can to survive and protect our children, but the coming winter makes it even harder. I am asking for your support once again, to help us gather the basic necessities —warm clothing, blankets, and a sturdier tent to protect my family from the bitter cold. went home for a friend’s memorial service and tried to spend the rest of my time in town “living in joy” like she asked us all to do in her last words.
this beautiful jaguar at the san diego zoo absolutely took my breath away. a reminder that strength and beauty pair perfectly🖤
