Probably not.

Just-
Wanted to whisper out into the void a little bit,
Clear my mind.

It’s been too full as of late.

So,
I’m just here…

Floating.

Now,
Realistically-
I don’t think that’s ever going to happen.

Especially these days…
I’m so caught in the inertia of real life, that there isn’t really any time for ‘Lumen’ anymore.

Hell-
There’s hardly even any time for ‘Evan’ anymore.

It’s kinda why I started this so long ago…
I thought I just wanted to put my stories out there.

But the truth is-
I really think I just wanted someone to go:
“Y’know, in a sea full of content creators- This weird little guy playing as an anglerfish-thing is MY favorite!”

I suppose,
There’s just a little selfish part of me in the back of my brain that wishes I was someone’s favorite.

Y’know?

Yet,
If you asked any of them who their best friend was,
I’m fairly certain that no one would say MY name…

Everyone is just a little bit closer to someone else-
Which is OKAY!

It’s not like there isn’t enough room in their lives and hearts for multiple friends!

It’s a little hard to explain,
Especially since I don’t even really feel bummed out about it.

It’s just a little weird to think about, I guess.

I have a lot of great friends,
Both in person, and online-
And I love them all a great deal.

My brain is really not doing great right now.
Not that anyone asked-
I just wanted to babble out into the void the tiniest bit.

I hope tomorrow is a little better.
