When I left Twitter I left all my angry, snarky, 4-letter filled posts behind. My goal here is to play it straight, meme and vulgarity free, such that I won’t be embarrassed using my real name. Now I plan to focus mostly on tariffs because that’s what I do.

For clarity: The above is not from his published Order. These were his comments from the bench prior to his issuing the order.

BTW, the above is not from the published Order. These were his comments from the bench during a hearing on the motion for a restraining order.

"I can't remember another case where the question presented is as clear as this one is. This is a blatantly unconsitutional order." ..."Franly, I have difficulty understanding how a member of the Bar could state unequivocally that this is a constitutional order."

I always thought it was in Long Island but the point is the same - (my company is a prime driver in our community gift drive). Best to all for the holidays.

The Rutledge series looks cool. Did you get sucked into the series? My reading is all over the place and I have no issues, now that I’m an old fart, in reading anything that grabs me 😇 I have been doing “Lunch and a book” posts on FB for two years or so. This sample is pretty diverse I reckon.

Of all the bad apples out there he is one whose cemetery would cross the globe to visit in order spit on his grave. And I’d say this is for Masha Yovanovitch as I did it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. “To commemorate a past event you kill and eat an animal. It’s a ritual sacrifice. … With pie. “

The fact that the final was televised on network tv, CBS, in prime time represented a noticeable paradigm shift in coverage. At least for me.

I suspect he has received assurances from someone that the committee report will not see the light of day. I don't tink it will escape publication in one form or another.

I like the bike path on the wall approach. They've done somethin similar with The High Line in NYC, the abandoned elevated train tracks that used to move freight in lower Manhattan. Now a beautiful bike and walking path. :-)

A common bit of genetic DNA the Elon/Trump glazers share is the absence of the gene that induces a sense of cognitive dissonance. Or the gene that fosters self-reflection. I think these genetic deficiencies occur with above average frequency with those susceptible of lemming behavior.

Nice to see you on here. I deactivated Twitteer. My goal here is to focus on what I do (trade, logistics), books, movies, sports, and politics. As to politics I'm swearing off the vulgarities I regularly used (I am a New Yorker so thats a toughie) and stick to policy. Maybe switch to my real name.
