Yesterday, the GSLTF hosted an event with @chathamhouse.org at #LCAW2025.
In a high-level panel, Ali Mohamed 🇰🇪, Benoît Faraco 🇫🇷, Anna Aberg 🇸🇪 & Avinash Persaud 🇧🇧 made clear: solidarity levies on polluting industries are fair, actionable sources of concessional finance.

Today we had the privilege of co-hosting a high-level dialogue with the Embassy of Brazil in Paris, diving into how international levies could unlock crucial finance for climate and development action.

Momentum is growing around solidarity levies as they are an underutilised source of climate and development finance.

With support from 17 countries, we are building government coalitions to back them.
