#ThrowbackThursday to October 2020 in Cancun, following my person's AT in California. It was strange- folks poolside with face shields and/or masks, and the chairs being far apart. If it hadn't been a deadly pandemic, it might actually have been nice. #gay #travel #Mexico #Cancun #gaysky #gaytravel

Among many reasons I love Philly is this story. I'm proud to have purchased the Christmas records over the years, and see the best of Philadelphia on display. #Philly #Philadelphia #Eagles #Gobirds
Here’s what happened when Jason Kelce and the Philly Specials hand-delivered holiday presents to Philly kids
It was a nine-vehicle caravan through the city, complete with police and fire escorts and Gov. Josh Shapiro and Superintendent Tony B. Watlington Sr. as hype men.

Instead of the #ThrowbackThursday, since tomorrow is #Thanksgiving, let's to a. #WaybackWednesday instead. In this case, way, way back! Dublin in December in 2009. Good times! #Gaytravel #Ireland #Dublin #Thanksgiving #Christmas #WaybackWednesday

I asked Haiper to generate what a typical Tuesday looks like in the office; This was the result. It also confirms my suspicions that Tuesdays are worse than Mondays.

Thought this was a really nice love story posted in the Guardian recently. Love is love, and it should always be celebrated and shared- the story made my day a little happier.
How we met after 60: ‘He is the first person in my life who has really taken care of me’
Sterling, 83, and Berkeley, 76, met at a support group for gay men in 2012. After realising they had a lot in common they fell ‘head over heels’ and now live together in Talent, Oregon

Pictures from a very happy weekend where I finally walked across the stage for my Master's graduation commencement. This was the first time that family recognized and celebrated any part of my academics. I love my in-laws; the smiles & celebration prove so. At the end of the day, they showed up.

I feel like this could have been written about 2 different types of bears 🤔

Still, Krispy Kreme is always better than Dunkin' Donuts any day, so these bears have good taste (literally & figuratively).

I definitely believe it’s time for a more representative mix of lawmakers, some fresh thinking and ending the gerontocracy of our current Congress.

“…lawmakers who refuse to retire undermine the health of democracy by slowing the succession of new leaders and new ideas.”
As aging lawmakers refuse to step aside, the next generation waits — and waits | Editorial
The current Congress is one of the oldest ever. Legislators who balk at retirement undermine the health of democracy by slowing the succession of new leaders and ideas.

A very good boy. But aren't all dogs good?

ChesCo is definitely a long ways away from El Paso; I'm sure Yoda will be happy to go home. Disclosure, I do also have a soft spot for maligators (and of course, all canines).
The dog that helped capture Danelo Cavalcante is named Yoda
Yoda is a member of a tactical unit from El Paso, Texas. The American Kennel Club calls the Belgian Malinois a “smart, confident, and versatile” breed that works hard and forms unbreakable bonds.

The school board member is absolutely right. Policies that infringe on the privacy of a specific minority of students removes their personal dignity. As was noted by the school itself- trans bathroom use is not an issue, so why stir a pot of hate for nonexistent issue? Glad the rabble-rousers lost.
Perkiomen Valley rejects policy to restrict transgender students’ bathroom use
The board split 5-4 against the policy, which was proposed a week earlier following a father’s post on social media that his daughter was distressed after she thought a boy was in the girl's bathroo...

Yes, goldfish crackers are a UPF, but they are ubiquitous, fun, and this story in the Inquirer was a fun read- I always love to read about things made here in Pennsylvania. Had no idea that the original cracker was from Europe.
Inside the Goldfish factory, a Pa. wonderland of cheesy crackers
Goldfish are so universal, they can be claimed by everyone and no one. But Philly has as good an argument as any, since the crackers are made in Pennsylvania and owned by Camden's Campbell Soup Co.
