This dataset doesn't distinguish. But there is work on the topic! This paper defines a pond as small (<5 ha), shallow (<5 m depth), and with <30% emergent vegetation.

This dataset doesn't distinguish. But there is work on the topic! This paper defines a pond as small (<5 ha), shallow (<5 m depth), and with <30% emergent vegetation.
