A good series for a book club.

I have just discovered the Georges Gorski books by Graeme Macrae Burnet. The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau, The Accident on the A35, and A Case of Matricide. As a lover of Georges Simenon, I think they are fabulous

If you’re looking for a free way to support an author, did you know you can ask your library to stock a book you want to read that they don’t have yet? And usually it’s a very basic online form? Google your library name plus the words “request a title” or “suggest a title” to find yours.

Dig it: #russelreads James Ellroy's, THE ENCHANTERS; a sick slide into the sin of the 60s with PI/Enforcer Freddie, hustling Hollywood as he looks into the suicide of Marylin Monroe. Sure Ellroy's take on history is far-fetched and mucho-melodramatic, but damn does it hook you and refuse to let go.
