Tariffs won't help of course, but - to this point - prices would largely be the same no matter who won.

We need real wage and income growth. Outside of emergencies - prices don't go down. As tough as sticky inflation is, no one wants the deflationary environment required to actually lower prices to what they were 4 years ago.

A Harris Administration wouldn't have lowered prices either. That's not something a US President can do. It was wrong for both campaigns to claim they could "lower prices."

I hear you, but we're in an affordability crisis. Inflation has outpaced wages for years. Is it reasonable to expect a socio-economically disadvantaged group of people to pay more in protest? Not saying we shouldn't do anything, but what's the pitch and how do you put it into practice at scale?

When his Administration ends, I hope that the America we have will still allow for a young man from a small town in Alabama to reach for opportunity and experience things beyond his dreams.

I hope young Americans from every part of the country can do the same 🇺🇲 🚀

As our next President is sworn in, I hope his Administration brings positive growth for the country. I hope he is guided by facts and a desire to do good for every American.

I reflected on the fact that, even a year prior, I didn't know that the Presidential Inaugural Committee existed. I didn't even know to dream to sit on stage, much less plan to be there.

Of course, I was also inspired by the historic nature of President Obama's election.

My role afforded me the privilege to sit on stage mere feet from President Obama as he gave his first inaugural address.

Sitting on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol building, I was struck by the 1.8M attendees from every community and culture who filled the National Mall in front of us.
