It may have been more thematically coherent if it wasn’t about dolphins but, like, ants or worker bees where you were constantly dying and being replaced trying to get some menial task done. But it definitely wouldn’t have sold as well.

Ecco isn’t as bad if you get over the idea that it’s supposed to be a relaxing swim with dolphins and realize that it’s just a very tight, twitchy puzzle game.

It’s still bad, just not AS bad. 🐬
